Beechtree Nursing Home promotes Quality Of Life and Independence through a Friendly and Professional Service. We are a family run business who continue to strive for Excellence in Personal Care for our Residents through Innovation and Commitment. We aim to make the Residents stay as enjoyable as possible. We provide a resident-centred holistic service which promotes respect, empowerment, independence and dignity in a homely environment offering choice, privacy, and fun. This quality service is provided through individual care planning following full assessments of the Residents individual needs.


Meet our team

Registered Provider Representative – Nuala Walsh is a qualified General and Paediatric Nurse (RGN; RSCN). She received a Diploma in Oncological Nursing from UCD and is a qualified Fetac Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor. She has been working in Care of the elderly since 2004 and assists the Director of Care in the management of Beechtree Nursing Home.

Director Of Care – Claire Reynolds is a qualified Nurse (RGN, Bsc. Nursing Hons) and is the Person in Charge of Beechtree Nursing Home. She has a Level 6 Certificate in Health & Safety; Management; Gerontology and Mental Health. Claire has held a Management role since 2007 and has over 17 years experience working in Care of the Elderly. She has the lead responsibility in developing and implementing the staff education and training program for resident service delivery.

Clinical Nurse Manager, The role of Clinical Nurse Manager is to support and assist the Director of Care in the management and care of Residents on a daily basis. This role involves supporting the nurses and healthcare assistants in assessing, planning, evaluating and organizing care for Residents by monitoring the safety and quality of care and services provided.

Staff Nurses – Our Registered Nurses are responsible for providing person-centred care to each of our Residents as recognized by their individual needs and wishes and developing individualized care plans, which highlight how these needs are to be met. Our Registered Nurses are responsible for monitoring the well-being of our Residents and supervise the health care assistants offering guidance when needed.

Healthcare Manager and Healthcare Assistants – Our HealthCare Manager gives support to our Healthcare assistants enabling them to provide personal and social care to Residents according to their assessed needs.

Activities Co-Ordinator Our Activities Co-ordinator delivers a high standard of social care to our Residents through the provision of a weekly activities program which includes one on one as well as group activities. These activities are designed following consultation with our Residents at their meetings where suggestions and ideas are proposed. The activity and social programme aims to provide a wide variety of activities which are fun for our residents to enjoy.

Our Catering team consists of Catering Manager, Chefs and Catering Assistants who design the food menu’s with input from the Residents and Dietician. The Catering Manager holds responsibility for implementing our health and safety policy related to food hygiene and maintains quality assurance by seeking feedback from Residents and Relatives. In this way we can improve the quality of our service.

We also have Household, Laundry, Maintenance and Admin staff all of whom play a vital role in the smooth running of our Nursing Home and without whom Beechtree would not be what it is.
